Since i started painting properly back in December 2011, i have produced some interesting work in the form of commissions for friends, family and strangers alike.

Where it says studying is not big enough, haha.

I have 3 A-Levels in Art and Design (Unendorsed), Graphic Communication and Fine Art, I then studied on the Foundation art and Design Diploma before moving away to south Wales to study Animation (Stop-motion) at Degree level.

I have a further qualification in Web Applications in the form of a module on a Degree in Multimedia.

I have recently finished a Post-Grad certificate in Education Post 16 (Teaching) and work at a sixth form college.

Currently I am furthering my qualifications in web design (Dynamic web design) at Furness college which is a module of a Foundation Degree in Computing.

Stoat on slate

Viewing Artwork by Andy Currie-Scarr

Stoat on slate
Title:
Stoat on slate
Description:
This is my first painting on slate. Decided to use the collected slate I found on my walks with the dog to paint woodland animals. The texture is great to work on and because the slate pieces are normal no larger that A4, they can be painted quite quickly. The stoat is still in progress as most of my paintings are but is getting here. Painted in Acrylic, this is roughly A4 sized
