Since i started painting properly back in December 2011, i have produced some interesting work in the form of commissions for friends, family and strangers alike.

Where it says studying is not big enough, haha.

I have 3 A-Levels in Art and Design (Unendorsed), Graphic Communication and Fine Art, I then studied on the Foundation art and Design Diploma before moving away to south Wales to study Animation (Stop-motion) at Degree level.

I have a further qualification in Web Applications in the form of a module on a Degree in Multimedia.

I have recently finished a Post-Grad certificate in Education Post 16 (Teaching) and work at a sixth form college.

Currently I am furthering my qualifications in web design (Dynamic web design) at Furness college which is a module of a Foundation Degree in Computing.

Giraffe in progress

Viewing Artwork by Andy Currie-Scarr

Giraffe in progress
Title:
Giraffe in progress
Description:
This is a piece I have been working on, hopefully a collection of 4 pieces for an exhibition I will be involved in, in May. I decided to paint animals as I have little work involving animals apart from pet dogs. These paintings will have an animal theme, and will involve some sort of texture added and worked on top of with acrylics. The giraffe has craft card ears and the nose/cheeks are made 3d using a base layer of melted candle wax and filled with Polyfilla. watch out for my other animal pieces shortly. Gecko, Husky and Octopus.
