Since i started painting properly back in December 2011, i have produced some interesting work in the form of commissions for friends, family and strangers alike.

Where it says studying is not big enough, haha.

I have 3 A-Levels in Art and Design (Unendorsed), Graphic Communication and Fine Art, I then studied on the Foundation art and Design Diploma before moving away to south Wales to study Animation (Stop-motion) at Degree level.

I have a further qualification in Web Applications in the form of a module on a Degree in Multimedia.

I have recently finished a Post-Grad certificate in Education Post 16 (Teaching) and work at a sixth form college.

Currently I am furthering my qualifications in web design (Dynamic web design) at Furness college which is a module of a Foundation Degree in Computing.

Crane's Curious Robots and Nauseous Ears Album CD label design

Crane's Curious Robots and Nauseous Ears Album CD label design
Title:
Crane's Curious Robots and Nauseous Ears Album CD label design
Description:
This was inspired by the front cover of the album, in which one of the band members dad was a photographer and had taken a photo of a tree stump from a birds eye view. The band liked the idea of organic looking things, and envisioned the tree having been created and maintained by machines. Thus the idea of the roots under the ground being surrounded by cogs. Another quirky addition is that the tree on the rear of the album cover made from the names of the tracks links up to the roots design on the CD to make a larger picture. The image is a mixture of hand drawn items, textures from photographs of roots, rusty metal and finally using photoshop to colour and combined the textures and hand drawn elements. This has to be one of my favourite pieces i have done.
