Bilbo Baggins

Viewing Artwork by Andy Currie-Scarr

Bilbo Baggins
Title:
Bilbo Baggins
Description:
I had the idea of doing this painting when the hobbit came out at the cinema. After starting it my cousin was quick to snap it up, he wanted one of Gandalf which I was also painting at the time and a Gollum painting. I have just finished this 6 months after the film came out! haha. This is acrylic and ink painted on to the canvas to give it a nice stained effect, then I painted over it in acrylics. Stencil like style but loosely painted with a brush.
